1. INTRODUCTION
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains your rights regarding the cancellation of orders, the return of products, and the refunding of payments for purchases made on www.byred.cy (the “Website”). BYRED is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with Cyprus consumer protection laws.

2. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL & WITHDRAW
2.1 The 30-Day Right of Withdrawal
As a customer purchasing products from BYRED, you have the right to cancel your purchase and return the products without providing any reason or justification. This right is known as the right of withdrawal or the cooling-off period. BYRED offers a generous 30-day return period, which is longer than the standard 14-day EU consumer right.
You have thirty (30) calendar days from the date you receive your products to inform BYRED of your decision to cancel the purchase and request a return. This 30-day period is the deadline for notifying us of your intention to withdraw from the purchase.
2.2 How to Exercise Your Right to Withdraw
To cancel your order and request a return, you must notify BYRED of your intention to withdraw within the 30-day period. You can do this by sending an email to info@byred.cy with the subject line “Return Request” or “Order Withdrawal.” Please include your order number, the date you received the products, your full name, email address, and phone number.
You do not need to provide a reason for your return, though you are welcome to do so. Once we receive your withdrawal notification, we will send you confirmation by email and provide you with instructions for returning the products.
Keep proof of your notification (such as the confirmation email from BYRED), as you may need this for tracking purposes and dispute resolution. Your withdrawal request is effective from the date you send the email to info@byred.cy.
2.3 Returning the Products
After you have notified BYRED of your intention to withdraw, you have a reasonable time to return the products to us. We recommend returning products as soon as possible after your withdrawal notification to avoid any complications. The products must be returned to the BYRED office address provided in the confirmation email you received.
For return shipping instructions and the exact address, please refer to the confirmation email sent to you after you submit your return request.
The products must be returned in the same condition as when you received them. This means the products must be unopened, sealed, and in their original packaging with all packaging materials intact. The products must not show any signs of use, damage, or wear beyond what would result from normal examination.
BYRED allows you to open and examine the products to determine whether you wish to keep them, this is considered normal inspection. However, the products must not have been used for their intended purpose, and they must be returned in a condition suitable for resale in the original condition.
2.4 Who Pays for Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning products to BYRED. You must arrange return shipping at your own expense and choose your preferred shipping method. However, if your return is due to a defect, damage, or a mistake on BYRED’s part, BYRED will reimburse you for the return shipping cost.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service so that you have proof of return and can monitor the delivery status of your return shipment. Keep your shipping receipt and tracking number, as these will be useful when we process your refund.
3. WHEN YOU CANNOT WITHDRAW
While BYRED offers a generous 30-day return period, the right to withdraw does not apply in certain specific circumstances. These exceptions exist to protect BYRED from potential losses due to the nature of certain products.
3.1 Condition Requirements for Acceptance
Your return will only be accepted if the products meet the condition requirements outlined in this policy. Products must be unopened, sealed, and in their original packaging with all packaging intact. If you open or damage the packaging, or if the products show any signs of use, the return may be rejected or a deduction may be made from your refund.
3.2 Sealed Hygiene & Safety Products
Once you open or break the seal on certain products, you cannot return them for reasons of health and safety. These products include disinfectants, wipes, hygiene products, and other sealed items where opening the package would create a health or safety risk. Once opened, these products cannot be resold for safety and hygiene reasons. Therefore, if you have opened a sealed product, the return cannot be accepted.
3.3 Non-Returnable Condition
If returned products are not in the required conditionโif they are opened, used, or the original packaging is damaged or missingโBYRED may reject the return entirely. If you have attempted to use the product or have opened packaging beyond what is reasonable for inspection, the return may be rejected.
4. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS & CONFORMITY GUARANTEE
In addition to your right to withdraw and return products, you have separate legal rights if the products you receive are defective, damaged, or do not match the product description. These rights exist independently of the return policy.
4.1 Two-Year Conformity Guarantee
Under Cyprus consumer protection law, BYRED guarantees that all products supplied conform to the contract description and are of satisfactory quality for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery. This is called the conformity guarantee or statutory warranty. This guarantee covers manufacturing defects, quality issues, and items that do not match the product description on our Website.
If you discover a defect in the productโsuch as damage, broken components, missing parts, or functionality issuesโwithin two years of delivery, you have the right to request a remedy. The available remedies are repair of the product at no cost to you, replacement with an identical or similar product, a reduction in the purchase price, or a full refund.
4.2 How to Claim a Defect
If you believe a product is defective or does not match the description, you must notify BYRED within two (2) months from the date you discovered the defect. You do not need to wait until the end of the two-year period; notify us as soon as you discover the problem.
Contact BYRED by sending an email to info@byred.cy with your order number, a clear description of the defect, and photographs showing the problem if possible. The more detail you provide, the faster we can assess and resolve your claim.
BYRED will investigate your claim and respond within five (5) to ten (10) business days with an assessment and proposed remedy.
4.3 Return Shipping for Defective Products
If the product is defective when you receive it, BYRED will cover the full cost of return shipping. You should not incur any cost for returning a defective product. Please contact us before shipping the defective product back, and we will provide you with instructions and, if applicable, a return shipping label.
4.4 Remedies for Defective Products
Once we confirm that a product is defective, we will offer one of the following remedies: we will repair the product and return it to you at no cost, we will send you a replacement product of equal or better quality, we will refund part of the purchase price if the defect is minor, or we will refund the full purchase price.
If the defect is significant (meaning it substantially affects the usability or value of the product), you are entitled to a full refund. If the defect is minor (meaning it does not substantially affect usability), BYRED may offer a price reduction instead of a full refund. BYRED will assess the severity of the defect and propose an appropriate remedy.
5. ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE SHIPMENT
BYRED allows you to cancel your order before it has been shipped, subject to time constraints based on when your order was placed.
5.1 Cancellation During Working Hours
If you place an order during BYRED’s working hours, you have up to two (2) hours from the time of order placement to cancel the order. This two-hour period allows us to stop processing your order before it is picked and shipped.
To cancel during working hours, email info@byred.cy immediately with your order number and cancellation request. We will confirm cancellation once it has been processed.
5.2 Cancellation During Non-Working Hours
If you place an order outside of BYRED’s working hours (evenings, weekends, or holidays), you can cancel your order at any time until the next business day. Your cancellation request will be processed during the next business day working hours.
To cancel during non-working hours, send an email to info@byred.cy as soon as possible with your order number and cancellation request. Please note that if your order has already been processed and prepared for shipment before we receive your cancellation request, cancellation may not be possible, though we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
5.3 Refund for Cancelled Orders
If your order is successfully cancelled before shipment, you will receive a full refund of the order amount, including the full cost of any shipping charges that were added to your order. The refund will be processed using the same payment method as your original order.
6. REFUND PROCESS & TIMELINE
6.1 Processing Your Return
Once BYRED receives your returned products, we will inspect them to verify that they meet the return conditions outlined in this policy. The inspection typically takes three (3) to five (5) business days. Once we have confirmed that the products are in acceptable condition, we will approve your return and process your refund.
If the products do not meet the return conditionsโif they are opened, used, or the packaging is damagedโwe will contact you to discuss options, which may include rejecting the return or processing a partial refund.
6.2 Refund Amount
When you request a return within the 30-day period, BYRED will refund the full purchase price of the products plus the original shipping cost that you paid to receive the products. You will not be charged for the return shipping, as you are paying for return shipping separately.
In other words: Refund Amount = Product Price + Original Shipping Cost
If you paid by multiple payment methods, the refund will be distributed proportionally across those methods.
6.3 Refund Timeline
BYRED will process your refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of receiving and inspecting your returned products. The 14-day period begins on the date we receive your return shipment and confirm that it meets the return conditions.
After BYRED initiates the refund, it may take an additional five (5) to ten (10) business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank, credit card company, or payment processor. This delay is beyond BYRED’s control and depends on your financial institution’s processing times.
6.4 How You Receive Your Refund
Your refund will be processed using the same payment method you used to place the original order. If you paid by credit card or debit card (via JCC), the refund will be credited back to your card. If you paid by bank transfer, the refund will be transferred back to your bank account. If you paid by cash on delivery, BYRED will arrange a refund method with you.
You will receive a refund confirmation email from BYRED once the refund has been processed. This email will include the refund amount and the expected date when the funds should appear in your account.
7. CONDITIONS FOR ACCEPTING RETURNS
7.1 Required Condition of Returned Products
For BYRED to accept your return, the products must be in the original, unopened, and sealed condition. The original packaging must be completely intact with no damage, tears, or signs of opening. All packaging materials, inserts, documentation, and components must be included.
Products must show no signs of use, wear, or handling beyond what would be expected from normal inspection and examination. If you have used the products, tested them in a way that caused wear, or otherwise used them for their intended purpose, the return will not be accepted.
7.2 Inspection Upon Receipt
When BYRED receives your returned products, we will conduct a thorough inspection to verify that they meet the condition requirements. We will check that the packaging is intact, that the products are unopened and sealed, and that there are no signs of use or damage.
If the products meet the condition requirements, we will approve your return and process your refund. If the products do not meet the requirements, we will contact you to explain why the return cannot be accepted or to discuss alternative options.
7.3 Damaged Packaging During Return
If the packaging becomes damaged during return shipping (which is your responsibility to prevent by using adequate protective materials), we will still accept the return as long as the product itself remains unopened and sealed. However, if damage during shipping has compromised the product’s seal or integrity, we may reject the return or process a partial refund.
7.4 Return of Partial Orders
If you ordered multiple products and wish to return only some of them, you may do so. We will process a refund for only the products that are returned in acceptable condition. Any products not returned will not be refunded unless they are defective.
8. RESTOCKING & PROCESSING FEES
BYRED does not charge restocking fees, handling fees, or processing fees for accepted returns. The only cost you may bear is the cost of return shipping, which is your responsibility except in cases where the product is defective or damaged.
This means that when you receive your refund, you will receive the full product price plus the original shipping cost, with no deductions for handling or restocking.
9. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS UPON ARRIVAL
If you receive a product that is damaged, broken, or defective upon arrival, follow these steps:
First, contact BYRED immediately by email at info@byred.cy with photographs of the damage and a description of the problem. Do not attempt to repair the item or use it excessively; this may affect your claim.
BYRED will assess the damage and determine the appropriate remedy. For damaged or defective items, BYRED will cover the cost of return shipping, so you will not incur any expense to return the item. You may be issued a pre-paid return shipping label to ensure you are not out of pocket.
Once the damaged product is received and verified, BYRED will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund. In most cases, BYRED will send a replacement product immediately while the damaged item is being returned.
